| LeMIS is a modular suite of Clipper-compiled xBase applications for the DOS environment, featuring mostly accounting functions—GL, inventory control, sales ledger, invoicing, order processing, payroll and fixed assets. There are also some specialized functions for specific users, like time management, printing estimating and data dictionary management. LeMIS features multi-user support (Netware networks), "sneaker-net" support (sharing files via floppy disks), a friendly Windows-like user interface (sans mouse), user ID and password security, and a powerful disk-based reporting system. System module The System module allows access to the available functional modules within a specific configuration. All LeMIS installations include at least one functional module, and the available modules appear on a System menu. The System module also handles user list maintenance, and the Report Manager tool is available for managing generated reports from any module. General Ledger
