6046. Started work on implementing the payroll item selection for the payroll register in EPPMS, to address the need for obtaining the payroll for cooperative members only.

6050. Coded the payroll item selection for the payroll register report in EPPMS and later tested and revised it then built the executable application as version 5.4, ready for installation at NRC.

6072. During the technical support visit to NRC, the new EPPMS 5.4 was installed and demonstrated.

6083. The auditing record on our website was reviewed. Most of the entries were “Comment was rejected” even as at today, proof that people were still attempting to spam the Blog on a daily basis.

6260. Taking advantage of a special time-limited promo (ending July 10), we downloaded, installed and registered a free version of WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe, a video editing application.

6271. We used WinX to extract 12 selected portions of several video files and then merge them together as one file, and it appeared to work better than VLC in the extraction part: The extracted file did not have the playback issues like delayed audio observed with the one extracted using VLC.

Summary

New EPPMS 5.4 was created and installed for the client, with the added feature of generating the payroll register only for people that have a specified payroll item. An audit review of our website revealed many “Comment was rejected” entries, proof that people were still attempting to spam this Blog on a daily basis.
