11024. Carried out FrontAccounting trouble-shooting in response to a user report that the MR-Payroll and the Authors and Royalties modules were no longer accessible, their menu items grayed out. Found in the Access Setup form of the application that the two modules had inadvertently been unchecked for access by their staff. For our new website, we revised the page footer file to dynamically display the copyright year and the date and time the content page file was last modified.

11035. Cheetah Press Ltd approved the implementation of our complete Printwiser proposal, commencing immediately. Discussions had been in progress since mid-2016, with a second demo presentation last month. We also modified MBSA to implement reversal of a posted invoice cancellation.

11050. We replaced the header files for our new website and blog on discovering that the Bootstrap CSS and font files were not being loaded successfully from their remote servers. The files being referenced locally now means that on many desktop browsers the Glyphicons won’t show properly, while showing correctly on mobile browsers. We revised Randomizer, adding a Recent Draws button to the Watch List, and for the top frequency number range generator we increased the number of digits for specifying how many prior numbers to be used from 3 to 10 while also providing for a way to specify number of prior days rather than having to calculate their total numbers first.

11061. Formally commenced work on the Printwiser for Cheetah Press project. For our new website and blog we put a more permanent solution to the Bootstrap CSS and fonts file access issue recently encountered, after discovering at bootswatch.com that the files being referenced had been relocated to another directory.

11072. Revised SQL code for the Bets window in Randomizer so that each bet win amount is calculated automatically when bets are checked against draws.

11094. Investigated a client report of inability to post in our MR-Payroll module of FrontAccounting due to a missing account warning. On examination of the client’s database we found the cause was one employee with no location assigned.

11105. Visited Cheetah Press for Printwiser application delivery and installation. The application was installed on four laptops and a desktop, with more to be done later. In response to PremierBet’s website being given an overhaul recently, we revised Randomizer’s bet ticket import in line with the new website format.

11131. Five-day introductory Printwiser user training for Cheetah Press kicked off at their Lagos office, led by Chris Emejuru with Moruf Ogunlaja and Lawrence Ikechukwu assisting. Over half a dozen management staff of Cheetah Press were in attendance.

11175. Introductory Printwiser user training was concluded at Cheetah Press.

11201. Ifeanyi Okocha joined us as admin/technical assistant, to be part of the technical support team for Cheetah Press, among other roles.

11223. We revised Printwiser to implement a couple of cosmetic changes in the Estimating module requested by users during the Cheetah Press training, the text displayed on the toolbar for a couple of reporting options that were exactly the same as their data entry counterparts now being differentiated, and to make one item on the quote request form more explanatory. We then prepared Cheetah’s live Printwiser database devoid of sample estimates that were in the demo and training database, for later installation.

11234. We made the first post-training technical support visit to Cheetah Press; started the live data setting up process for the Estimating module with creation of users then went through Estimating user access set up, option setting, customer, press machine and material/labor price settings.

11245. Visited Academy Press Plc for discussions with users on new Printwiser Estimating and Labelwriter software upgrade requirements.

11260. In EPPMS we implemented version 4.65 including pay point name and inactive nature name on Employee List as requested by the user along with a database update to temporarily resolve an error-induced lock-out issue, emailing users the download links for the installers. In Printwiser we implemented version 7.551 with the two requests made by Cheetah Press during the support visit, password reset option for the Users list and customer phone number column.

11282. Paid the second support visit to Cheetah Press where two laptops were updated and we assisted with Material List entry while answering questions from users.

11293. In Randomizer we implemented a “Month-Shy” filter button for the Best Couple List, to show couples yet to be drawn in the current month only.
