12015. LwriterGF 1.0: Program development work continued over the next three weeks: Implementation of new reports—pallet label, single pallet label, packing list, delivery note and comprehensive analysis. Revision of carton labeling and the Job List. Enhancing existing features, updating the About window and implementing options settings. Building the executable program and carrying out general testing, getting the calculated values on the delivery note report—weights, boxes, booklets, pallets—generally corresponding to what was on the client’s sample. Writing and compiling the HTML help documentation (screenshot image above). Setting up the delivery version of the database, with the client’s details.

We also tried out the pyodbc module with a SQL Anywhere database and it successfully connected and retrieved some data (a MoneyBooks demo database).
