Labelwriter...

The second job format handles quantities by zone and varying packing specifications—question copies per envelope and envelopes per carton, along with paper size and sheets per copy. The questions are delivered to different zones. This page illustrates this job format.

Now, you may be wondering how Labelwriter determines the number of labels. The labels are going to be used to identify envelopes (or cartons) containing question papers. The answer depends on the user-supplied parameters, such as the maximum number of question papers per envelope. The number of labels is basically the number of envelopes required. This in turn depends on how many question papers are required for a subject.

For instance in the case of envelope labels, let us say the copies per envelope is 50, and 175 copies are required. 3 envelopes will hold 50 papers each, totalling 150. The remaining 25 papers will go in a 4th envelope. So in this case there will be 4 labels. The first label will be marked “1 of 4,” while the last will be marked “4 of 4.”
