12036. Revised Randomizer for saving and recall of all settings on the main form and later creation of LeMIS transactions for bets and wins, so that these could automatically be imported by the old LeMIS accounting software.
12040. Added more features to Randomizer—faster querying on the bet results window, display of bets and wins as LeMIS transactions, ending with implementing fund deposits and withdrawals data entry.
12051. Continued updating of Randomizer, including deposits and withdrawals in the generation of LeMIS transactions, writing the transactions directly to a text file to avoid the delimiters used with the normal file type-based export, adding days elapsed and average days per draw to the best couple list to see which couples appeared faster than others.
12073. Checked for a PC version of the UC Browser we’d been using on a smartphone as we’d read something about it before. Found and installed it on a laptop, trying it out and liking some neat features, like saving a webpage as an image, automatically blocking ads, one-click YouTube downloading, a free virtual Wi-Fi, the screenshots tool which works just like Lightshot. We later realized it used older Google Chrome code which was why some features worked and looked like Google’s, and also that it lacked a general password like SeaMonkey and Firefox, so if you saved website passwords anyone that opened the browser in your absence would have unchallenged access to your accounts.
12084. EPPMS client called to request adjustment to the non NUR/SSA reports so the application was revised and uploaded, the user was emailed the link for download and installation.
12121. EPPMS client requested for a new report in the application to be taken to Abuja tomorrow, a loan report that could combine information for different loans together for each person. We noticed that string query expansion didn’t work on the notes list in Gerian, so went to work to revise the application to implement it, along with automatic resizing of the notes body on the form when the container window was resized, learning another lesson in the process about the usefulness of keeping backups.
12132. Implemented the merged loans report in EPPMS as requested by the client.
12143. Began implementing some nice-to-have features in Randomizer (showing the last imported draw as part of the window’s title, access to the Windows Calculator applet from the Win Calculator window, showing the difference between deposit and withdrawal totals, noting on the main window when the computer date changed after midnight, and so on). Made the assets revaluation form in MoneyBooks Fixed Assets more user friendly, the first revision of the module since 2014.
12213. Visited a Printwiser client on the mainland and had discussions with the MD about resuscitating use of the application there.
12235. We put up the Microsoftware page at the newly-launched Linda Ikeji Social website and made three posts with images from Printwiser and Randomizer. The new home for Microsoftware on the web is now https://lindaikejisocial.com/microsoftware. Days earlier we also put up a page for SFI at the site: https://lindaikejisocial.com/sfi-ng. Check them out!
12246. Looked into the problem of not being able to connect to the MoneyBooks server from a computer over the wireless network set up by wifi software and after seeing how to get connection issues logged to a file were happy to find a solution, which was to include the 64-bit version of the server application among the list of programs to be allowed through the Windows firewall after noticing that it was only the 32-bit version that we weren’t even using that was on the list. EPPMS client called to report issues they were having with the Christmas bonus report, wanting an update for them by Monday. We later began the EPPMS v4.62 revision, allowing them to specify the bonus year on the reporting window and including three more columns on the report itself among others, completing the database and client code changes.
12250. Completed the EPPMS revision work in the morning but encountered connection and bogus virus claim challenges uploading the zip compressed installer file, eventually having to upload the uncompressed executable files hours later in the afternoon. The bogus virus report was made by cPanel—“virus Win.Trojan.Toa-5372190-0 FOUND”—which then went ahead to delete the uploaded file. Our antivirus software didn’t find anything wrong with the zip and even cPanel itself still had issues with the zip file after doing the zip compression of the two executable files by itself.
12261. Due to issues encountered while entering an applicant’s resume into MoneyBooks we made some changes to MBDM to address them.
12283. Implemented v2.66 of MBDM with access security implementation for the Applicants, Promotions and Share Holdings submodules and general enhancements to the Applicants submodule.
12305. Continued implementing new features in Randomizer like account summary display, showing the difference between total bets and wins on the Bets window, sorting of the numbers list by draws, and implementation of the bottom 10 analysis and targets to complement the top 10 analysis.
12316. Finalized the implementation of new features in Randomizer: “Show Draws” button for the Best Couple List window to show the history of draws for a given pair of numbers with the days in between, Bottom 10 targets for prior 1 to 4 months and bottom 10 number analysis.
