5025. We read and responded to a Labelwriter user’s feedback on the new version on WhatsApp, creating and sending a database update to correct one issue of a missing procedure.
5073. We revised the Cash Expense List in MoneyBooks General Ledger, as v3.50, implementing descending date order sort for it. We allowed Supervisor users to be able to change the user id, in case another user’s entry was being added or revised. Flexible string column querying was implemented, whereby just typing text will allow for columns containing the text to be retrieved. We made inserts to occur at the current row position rather than at the bottom of the list. Later in the month we implemented an update trigger to propagate certain changes to their corresponding journal records.
5202. We began the next v11.0.4 revision of Labelwriter upgrade in response to client feedback on one of the job types, including school name and optional exam date on the day label and listing reports. We then updated the local copy of the client database, and updated the program documentation in PDF format. Days later we finalized and compiled the HTML help documentation, created the new installer for v11.0.4 and uploaded it to our server.
5235. We got project coding work done on a client’s website—website code upgrading and maintenance—and this Blog site, correctly removing the pagination menu after a search. For the client’s website work, the first thing we did was to update the exchange rates for the Euro. Next we implemented pagination and search for the Users list, borrowing (and revising and improving) code from this Blog that was put up in December. Finally we removed some junk mail and then backed up the database and images.
We also began looking into an inquiry made by a prospect in New Zealand on our MR-Payroll for FrontAccounting module that watched the video. The prospect has a client using FrontAccounting 2.3.19 that needs a payroll module, and further communication was exchanged later in the month on implementing our module and rendering technical support.
